Physical Therapy Director directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of physical therapy programs to patients. Evaluates current physical therapy programs and investigates potential new or revised therapy programs to improve the quality of patient care. Being a Physical Therapy Director oversees budgeting, staffing, and the development and implementation of new physical therapy programs. Ensures the physical therapy division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Additionally, Physical Therapy Director typically requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Physical Therapy Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Physical Therapy Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Position:

    Great team members are ones who fit our culture and values, working alongside the physical therapists and assisting the patients. We strive to provide a friendly and encouraging environment for our patients and you play a key role.

    Your primary focus on the team is to assist the clinicians in their day to day work. You will also be anticipating clinic needs such as maintaining cleanliness and ensuring equipment is in working order and ready for use. You will be directly relating to patients to ensure they are comfortable and feel welcome.

    You will be maintaining a high level of intensity through out your day working with the clinical staff. You will be greeting patients and working side by side with them as directed by the therapist. You will prepare and gather equipment to facilitate quick and efficient transitions for patients.

    What You Need to be Successful:

    • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to be welcoming and to put people at ease.
    • Ability to stand, stoop, and move throughout the clinic for your entire assigned shift. This person is on their feet providing amazing care to our patients the entire time they are in the clinic.
    • Ability to multi task and anticipate the needs of patients and clinical staff. In addition, having the initiative to seek out tasks that need to be done in order to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
    • Interest in helping people make progress toward their health goals. You will be receiving experience in the physical therapy field and this is an ideal role for someone with an interest in furthering their knowledge and experience in physical therapy.

    Qualifications:

    High School diploma desired. All staff must be age 16 or over to be eligible for employment.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Education/Licensure/Certification:

    High school diploma is preferred; satisfactory completion of on the job training.


    Physical Requirements:

    Requires frequent walking throughout clinic; requires sitting at a workstation/desk; requires standing; work may include occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 30 lbs. such as files, documents and small equipment. Work requires finger dexterity and eye hand coordination to operate computer keyboard and clinic equipment.


    Mental Demands:

    Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests; ability to resolve conflict amongst staff and to work collaboratively with clinic director, physicians, other members of the staff; ability to concentrate and focus on projects; possess creative systems thinking to ensure operational efficiency; ability to problem solve and make decisions; self control and stress tolerance in dealing with multiple requests and conflicting demands from multiple customers.


    Special Demands:

    Needs minimal sustained direction in assessing needs, directing clinic flow and carrying out clinic responsibilities; self starting and self motivating; working hours may exceed eight (8) hours per day and is based on what is needed to accomplish work at hand.
