Summary of Position

The responsibility of the PT Site Supervisor is to maintain a productive clinic while encouraging a healthy work environment for employees. The Site Supervisor reports directly to the PT Manager/Dir. of Ancillary Services and is responsible for the management of the departments’ employees at their assigned location.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of physical therapy/physical therapy assistant.
• Must know the principles and practice of PT, be familiar with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and possess knowledge of management and supervision techniques.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida

• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.

• This individual spends 95% of his/her time inside an air-conditioned work area.
