Physical Therapy Supervisor supervises the staff of the physical therapy division and/or clinic. Assesses physical therapy programs to evaluate the quality of patient care. Being a Physical Therapy Supervisor provides guidance to and monitors the performance of physical therapy staff. Ensures physical therapy staff follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Additionally, Physical Therapy Supervisor may perform training demonstrations for physical therapists and assistants. May maintain a small caseload of patients. Requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Requires Certified Physical Therapist (CPT). Requires Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT). Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapy Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Overview:

We are a busy and fast paced outpatient clinic who is seeking someone who is people oriented, organized and a team player who can multitask, prioritize a busy workflow while working with a diverse clientele. Must be highly dependable, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work until 7 pm. Experience is preferred. A degree in a related field and a desire to pursue a graduate degree in physical therapy may substitute for experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment under their supervision.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure they are clean and organized.
- Set up equipment and assist with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
- Monitor patients during therapy exercises and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
- Input exercise flowsheet into the EMR.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
