Physical Therapy Supervisor supervises the staff of the physical therapy division and/or clinic. Assesses physical therapy programs to evaluate the quality of patient care. Being a Physical Therapy Supervisor provides guidance to and monitors the performance of physical therapy staff. Ensures physical therapy staff follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Additionally, Physical Therapy Supervisor may perform training demonstrations for physical therapists and assistants. May maintain a small caseload of patients. Requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Requires Certified Physical Therapist (CPT). Requires Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT). Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapy Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Busy outpatient physical therapy clinic is looking for a dependable, and detail oriented individual in Sumter county. Applicant must be available to work in our Bushnell location. Duties include but are not limited to taking blood pressure, giving patient appointments, responding to timers to remove patients from electrical stimulation or heat/ice, cleaning, laundry, and faxing notes. You may also assist the front office collecting copayments and other tasks.
