Physician - Anesthesiology examines patient to determine type of anesthetic needed and communicates findings to appropriate medical practitioner. Administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Being a Physician - Anesthesiology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Anesthesiology may report to a medical director. Physician - Anesthesiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Practice Information
    - Case load includes: Neurosurgery, Cardiac Cath, General, ENT, Ortho, Thoracic, GI
    - Schedule- 17 weeks-7am to 3pm-1st out, 17 weeks- Late provider is on call
    - 17 weeks off
    - 3 Anesthesiologists, 8 CRNAs
    - 8 ORs
    - Call - 1:3 week day 1:4 weekends
    - 200 bed hospital with ASC
