We are seeking a Medical Assistant with Urodynamic Experience to join our urology team , providing clinical and administrative support within the department. This role involves rendering urodynamic tests, managing patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the urology practice. The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in urodynamic procedures alongside general medical assistant responsibilities.

This role may require the flexibility to work across our Lomax and Baptist South locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing urodynamic studies, including patient preparation, operation of urodynamic equipment, and documentation of test results.
• Provide direct patient care by taking vital signs, collecting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Manage patient flow within the clinic, ensuring patients are seen promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain and calibrate urodynamic testing equipment, ensuring that all devices work properly for accurate testing.
• Collaborate with urologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with urinary disorders.
• Educate patients on test procedures, post-test care, and follow-up appointments as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) preferred.
• Proven experience in urodynamic testing and familiarity with urodynamic equipment -Laborie.
• Minimum of One year of experience in a clinical setting, with at least one year in a urology practice rending urodynamics preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, compassionate patient care approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
