Physician Assistant - Medical assesses, plans, and provides patient care under the supervision of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Being a Physician Assistant - Medical orders and interprets appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries. Additionally, Physician Assistant - Medical requires completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). - Accurately document patient encounters, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans

- Transcribe physician orders and prescriptions
- Provide coding support for medical procedures and diagnoses
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with patient care tasks, such as taking vital signs and assisting with medication administration
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to accurately document medical information
- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospital operations and procedures is beneficial
- Must have a high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality
