About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant with specialized expertise in orthopedic and spine surgery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting orthopedic and spine surgeons in both surgical and clinical settings.  This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment and make a positive impact on patient outcomes. 

What You Will Do

• Assist spine surgeons in pre-operative evaluations, surgical procedures, and post-operative care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and medical history reviews
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising surgeon.
• Provide patient education and counseling on treatment options, surgical procedures, and post operative care instructions.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. 
• Participated in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborated with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Ability to travel to various clinics, hospitals, and surgery centers around Long Beach and greater Los Angels Area

Qualifications 

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• California licensed
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in spine surgery
• Proficiency in assisting with a variety of orthopedic and spine procedures.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Estimate compensation range

• Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 per year

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: work experience, market data, and geographic location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
