Physician Assistant - Surgical under the direction of physician, performs first assistant surgical duties, including tissue retraction and suturing. Completes pre-op tasks including physical examinations and recording health history. Being a Physician Assistant - Surgical orders appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries Requires completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Additionally, Physician Assistant - Surgical requires a master's degree of Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related. Typically reports to a physician. Requires Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Requires State license to practice. Physician Assistant - Surgical's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. About the Job
The job entails supporting minimally invasive surgical procedures in the operating room. Interacting with customers (surgeons, nurses, hospital management, and surgical technologists) on a daily basis. You will be determining needs of the surgeon prior to the procedure; assisting in setting up the operating room and pulling all necessary instrumentation for the procedure; are in the room and available to help troubleshoot video equipment and answer any questions or address any complaints of the surgeon, nursing staff or surgical technologists may have.

Schedule
This position is Monday-Friday with rotating call shifts (including overnight, weekends and holidays).
Schedules Available:
6:30AM-3PM Mon-Fri rotating call with the rest of the CSi team.
8:30AM-5PM Mon-Fri rotating call with the rest of the CSi team.

Connected Surgical offers competitive starting salaries based on level of education and experience. Employees are salaried employees who are paid biweekly.
