Physician - CCU treats patients in critical/coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary. Being a Physician - CCU requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - CCU may report to a medical director. Physician - CCU's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
