This is in a gorgeous state-of-the-art-office. The Practice offers Medical, Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology. We are seeking an energetic team-oriented individual to work directly with the leadership to start building an amazing practice and take a leadership role.
This position will be responsible for:
Rooming patients- documenting medical histories and chief complaints into the EMR
Directly assisting the provider with all aspects of dermatology care including biopsies, excisions, cryo-therapy, sutures, suture removals, general office visits, laser therapies, injections, and wound care
Accurately and completely scribing all notes during the visit for provider in EMR
Providing educational assistance, pharmacy needs and communications for test and labs.
Sterilizing instruments, maintain an organized workspace
Scheduling patients as needed for follow up appointments in conjunction with the Medical Receptionist
This position will be cross trained to assist with some front office duties such as check in and appointment scheduling as we launch.

Required Experience
2 years working directly assisting a Dermatologist with hands-on patient care
2 years working with an Electronic Medical Record (EZ Derm preferred)
Strong understanding of Dermatology terminology, medications, procedures, and treatments
Phlebotomy experience a plus
Leadership qualities, team player and self-starter mentality is required
