Physician - Dermatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the human skin. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Dermatology performs a variety of laboratory procedures, examines sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Dermatology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Dermatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by expanding our collaborative care team. We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE Dermatologist physician in desirable Issaquah, Washington.     Aspects of the Dermatologist physician role:

    • Position information.  Join our multidisciplinary team of high-quality providers. This is a great opportunity to join a busy dermatology practice with an established patient population, built in referral source and multidisciplinary physician support including Mohs, plastic surgery, rheumatology and dermatopathology.
    • Team based approach. Our team focuses on providing appropriate, compassionate, and multidisciplinary state-of-the art care for our patients. We believe in advancing the field of dermatology through quality patient care, research, and education.

    Qualifications

    • BE/BC; Dermatology
    • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
    • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
