Brown EM is looking for several Hospitalists who are licensed in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and who will be responsible for providing observation services in the Emergency Department’s Critical Decision Unit (CDU). The goal of the CDU is to provide observation services to Rhode Island Hospital (RIH) patients who require care that extends beyond initial evaluation and management in the emergency department, and to determine if inpatient admission of the patient is needed.
