Physician - Endocrinology jobs in Galveston, TX
Physician - Endocrinology examines and diagnoses hormone disorders and diseases and specializes in management of hormone conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Endocrinology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Endocrinology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. - Full time academic clinician
- 8 Half day outpatient clinics
- Participate in weekend rotation for inpatient consults
- Teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and endocrinology fellows
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD degree or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME Accredited Internal Medicine Residency program
- Board certification/Board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
- Eligibility for Texas medical licensure
