Physician - Endocrinology examines and diagnoses hormone disorders and diseases and specializes in management of hormone conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Endocrinology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Endocrinology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director.     The Diabetes Educator provides individualized and group education and counseling on all aspects of diabetes self-care, particularly on the nutritional aspects of diabetes management and assists the Diabetes Advisory Committee and Coordinator in the planning and implementation of diabetes education and self-management training services.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree Nutrition/dietetics or
    • Master's Degree Nutrition/dietetics.
    • Upon hire: Montana Nutritionist License
    • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
    • 3 years Direct patient contact.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Within 2 years of hire Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist
