Physician - Endocrinology examines and diagnoses hormone disorders and diseases and specializes in management of hormone conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Endocrinology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Endocrinology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join 7 other physicians.
- Mon- Fri 8:00am-5pm (Providers work 4 ½ days )
- Visit times vary 15 minutes for follow up to 90 minutes for new patients (depending on physician)
- Call 1:7
- Hospital: Each provider takes call every 6 weeks for 1 week at a time
- Less than 10 calls in a week, few of which require going to the hospital In House-Hospitalists cover
- New patients: 1-2 per day
- Follow up patients: 10-20 per day- varies between provider preference
- Percentage of Diabetic vs. Endo will vary, depending on physician
