Physician - Family Practice examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Family Practice prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Family Practice requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Family Practice's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. PTO time is negotiated for Physicians. -403B/Pension plan is not offered for MHCC employees -CME reimbursement is usually $3000 for midlevels and $5000 for physicians -Hospital funded loan forgiveness opportunities for midlevels - usually $45000 per 3 year contract term, $15000 per year with receipt submission -Relocation and/or sign on bonus is negotiable - either one or the other; both are not granted. -MHCC
