Physician - Family Practice examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Family Practice prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Family Practice requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Family Practice's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Established Private Family Practice Primary group looking for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team as a full time FNP. You will focus on providing high quality patient care to adult patients on a scheduled and unscheduled basis. Looking for Full-Time, Monday - Thursday 9- 5:30 PM, Friday 9- 2:30 PM. Saturday hours could be added if Provider needs off during the week.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Required license or certification: NYS Nurse Practitioner
- Flexible work schedule
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Spanish speaking a plus
