Physician - Family Practice examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Family Practice prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Family Practice requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Family Practice's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Responsibilities: - To provide high-quality patient care - Manage all patient care while on shift - Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using EMR system - Administer common medications for urgent care patients Working Conditions: - Fast-paced, deadline-oriented clinical office environment - PAs supported by highly-trained medical staff - State-of-the-art facilities and equipment - On-site digital X-ray - On-site CLIA waived laboratory - EMR system Qualifications: - 2 years of clinical practice experience required - Must be able to see ages 3 months and up - Active and current DEA number - Experience with EMR systems - Experience with providing Workers' Compensation services preferred - Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory
