What You'll Be Doing:
Recruitment
- Recruit talented, capable individuals.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Foster positive candidate experiences and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Compliance
- Ensure corporate compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Stay abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance issues.
- Oversee HR compliance matters, including ADA and FMLA.
- Administer leave of absence transactions for team members in various leave statuses (FMLA, STD, LTD, etc).
- Administer HR compliance programs including clearing new hires, background checks, drug testing, EEO reporting, I-9 compliance, etc.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on I-9/E-Verify compliance.
- Coordinate and maintain EEO reporting.
Benefits Administration
- Administer all benefits and retirement plans through processing team member enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Setup individual team members benefit enrollments in the HR/Payroll system based upon benefit elections.
- Assist team members and former team members with questions regarding benefit plans including but not limited to enrollment eligibility, claims, opportunities at termination, etc.
- Educate team members on benefits offerings and assist in resolving benefits-related inquiries.
- Process monthly vendor invoices for benefit programs.
- Present overview/explanation of benefits package at new team member orientation
Other Responsibilities (as needed)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation.
- Assumes additional tasks assigned by senior management or which are logically inherent to this position.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration preferred, with 2-3 years of HR/Benefits administration experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering constructive relationships and collaboration, demonstrating professionalism.
- Self-motivated, innovative thinker with sound judgment, tact, and respect for others.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team to achieve established goals.
