Physician - Geriatrics specializes in dealing with illness and other complications due to the aging process in the elderly. Ensures proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Geriatrics treats disorders that arise due to aging such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. Requests necessary tests, follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Geriatrics requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Geriatrics's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Verifying patient insurance
Preparing correspondence between medical providers and their patients
Providing quality customer service to patients
Working in a professional environment
Oversee billing, coding, and collections
Schedule appointments
Maintain medical records
Perform data entry and processing
Develop and implement office policies and procedures
Formulate objectives and processes
Generate inventory records
Provide educational material for patients
EMR Support
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
