Overview

Newborn Hospitalist / Pediatrician to join our new practice at prestigious Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Center located in the beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia area.

Responsibilities

• 2.5 pediatric hospitalist practice covering the newborn nursery.
• Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call
• Block scheduling available. 
• The ideal candidate may have either ambulatory or inpatient well newborn experience. 
• Opportunity to exchange best practices and ideas with the several thousand Pediatrix providers working across more than 400 hospitals. 
• Start date target / Summer 2024. 

Qualifications

• VA license strongly preferred
• Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent NBN experience required
