Physician - Hospitalist jobs in Rochester, NY

We are seeking a full-time permanent Hospitalist Physician to work very low volume shifts at the VA in Bath, NY.

As a practicing physician, you will enjoy a cohesive team atmosphere built on communication and cooperation.

Job Description:

We provide various models of shifts with block scheduling as well competitive pay.

--We offer 24-hour shifts for our physicians (1 Physician on per shift)

--Census average is 4-6 per shift

--We are looking for part- & full-time physicians

--BE/BCIM, BCFM preferred

--$327,000-$410,000 per year

Position Description:

The Physician will assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating and studying medical histories. The Physician will document patient care services by charting in-patient and department records.

Requirements:

• Excellent clinical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational/time management skills
• Current license to practice medicine in New York State
