Physician - Immunology/Allergy jobs in Lompoc, CA

Physician - Immunology/Allergy examines and treats disorders and diseases of the immune system. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Immunology/Allergy performs a variety of laboratory procedures, examines sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Immunology/Allergy requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Immunology/Allergy's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.   • The Physician, Family Medicine provides assessment, evaluation, planning and treatment aligned with evidence based guidelines and performs at the highest professional standards of clinical practice in their specialty. The physician collaborates with external referring physicians to provide continuous care, and assist patients with appropriate treatment and follow up as clinically indicated.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

    LEVEL OF EDUCATION

    Minimum: Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (DO). Board Certified in the physician's associated specialty.

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Minimum: Physician's unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California. Must meet all requirements for membership and unrestricted clinical privileges of the CH Medical Staff. DEA and AHA BLS.

    Preferred: Successful completion of specialty fellowship.

    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum: Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications. In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.

    YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

    Minimum: Proven experience working in clinical practice as a physician.
