COMPANY PROFILE:
This specialized vein practice opened more than 15 years ago and currently boasts a provider staff of more than 40 talented physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Together with their support team, they offer vein disease services in comfortable, modern settings focused on excellent patient experiences. They currently operate more than 30 offices in several states and are hiring due to expansion.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Daily schedules include a mix of procedures, follow-ups, and consultations. Depending on the appointment types, physicians conduct between 15 and 35 visits per day. Higher volume days are reserved for routine follow-ups. Days focused on procedural work average 15 to 20 patients.
Physicians are supported by clinical assistants in all appointments. Procedures are ultrasound-guided with state-of-the-art equipment and on-site sonographers.
Duties of the role include, among others:

- radiofrequency ablation
- sclerotherapy
- compression therapy
- laser ablation
- microphlebectomy
- Varithena
- Venaseal
The practice sees patients for, among other conditions:
- varicose veins
- leg swelling / heaviness
- spider veins
- restless leg syndrome
- venous insufficiency
The practice uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
The patient demographic is 99% insurance-based (medical) and 1% cash pay (cosmetic sclerotherapy).
There are no on-call, evening, or weekend duties.
The practice is open to physicians of all specialities and offers comprehensive, hands-on training. Their standard training program is 12 weeks at their flagship office in Manhattan (fully paid, Monday to Thursday travel), but this is adjusted based on provider experience in vein work.
