PER DIEM - INFECTIOUS DISEASE PHYSICIAN- O/P CLINIC

A board-certified physician who provides clinical care to adults, with a focus on infectious diseases.

• Provides patients with infectious disease specialty care services in addition to general primary care
• Development/updating of clinical guidelines for HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, nPEP, and other infectious diseases
• Managing and treating common health problems, including infections, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses and disorders, with a focus on infectious diseases;
• Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, etc. to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury;
• Collecting, recording, analyzing, and maintaining patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results;
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients;
• Monitoring patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary;
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• MD, DO with completion of Infectious Disease Fellowship
• At least 2 years of experience working in Infectious Disease, preferred 
• Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
• Adept in decision-making responsibilities
