Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of high risk or complicated pregnancies. Examines patients to ensure proper care and provides consultation for complications associated with the pregnancy. Being a Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine may assist in maternal transport or prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Additionally, Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine provides pre- and postnatal care as needed. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. * Medical Group is a 34 member group with 29 physicians and 5 mid-level providers
* There are 8 Family Medicine physicians in the group
* Current call expectation is 1:6. (practice - telephone)
* Exclusive Hospitalist coverage available for ER / inpatients!
**There are 4 office locations:**
* Bluffton - on campus of hospital - this is the main office where most of the group
members are housed
* Markell - 15 miles out (3 providers - 1 FP and 2 mid-levels)
* Warren - 15 miles out (1 provider - 1 mid-level)
* Ossian - 8 miles out (2 providers - 2 FPs)a
