Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine jobs in Muskegon, MI
Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of high risk or complicated pregnancies. Examines patients to ensure proper care and provides consultation for complications associated with the pregnancy. Being a Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine may assist in maternal transport or prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Additionally, Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine provides pre- and postnatal care as needed. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Maternal/Fetal Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. What We Provide:
- 4 or 5-day work week
- No hospital rotations
- Minimal on-call schedule
- Generous administrative time (up to 8 hours weekly)
- Eligible for up to $25,000 in tax-free loan repayment per year for up to 8 years through NHSC.
- Eligible for up to $300,000 in loan repayment through MSLRP.

Certificate/License Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Medicine
- Completion of a primary care residency either in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- State of Michigan Medical License
- State of Michigan Controlled Substance License
- Federal DEA License
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine
