Lynchburg Nephrology is a fast-paced Nephrology practice with two office locations in Lynchburg, VA and Farmville, Virginia. Our practice is looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in both locations. This position will require you to perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks.
Administrative responsibilities include:
· Answering phone calls/voicemails/emails
· Scheduling appointments
· Completing prior authorizations
· Updating medical records
Clinical duties will include:
· Documenting medical histories
· Recording patient vital signs
· Preparing patients for the exam
· Calling in prescriptions as ordered
