Physician - Nephrology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the kidneys. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Nephrology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nephrology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Nephrology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Seeking a Nephrology physician to join our dynamic medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. Your medical expertise will make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our diverse patient community. Come be the best at the best!
Job Details- Practice schedule is 8a-4p M-F
- 1:3 weekend coverage and approx. 5-7 days per month of hospital call
- 14-18 clinic patients daily; inpatient volume can vary from 8-15 patient rounds consults daily
- Currently 2 physicians and 1 APP
- Physician would also need to have privileges at all local dialysis centers to be able to round on dialysis patients weekly
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire
- BE/BC in Nephrology
- Completed an ACGME-accredited residency
