Being a Physician - Nuclear Medicine instructs and directs nuclear medicine technologists regarding desired dosages, techniques, positions, and projections. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nuclear Medicine requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Position Qualifications- Minimum Education: Must have an associate’s degree or greater in Radiological Sciences or certificate from an AMA-approved school or 1 year of training in Nuclear Medicine.
- Preferred Education: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB.
- Preferred Experience: 2 years in a related work situation.
