Physician - Nuclear Medicine jobs in San Antonio, TX
Physician - Nuclear Medicine uses radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease. Monitors quality control of radionuclide preparation, administration and disposition, and ensures that all activities comply with the standards of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Being a Physician - Nuclear Medicine instructs and directs nuclear medicine technologists regarding desired dosages, techniques, positions, and projections. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nuclear Medicine requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Position Requirements:
- Education: Graduated from a medical school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association or Permanent Certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
- Experience: A minimum experience of two (2) yearswithin the last three (3) years working as a Physician Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Residency and fellowship time counts as practicing experience.
- License: Valid unrestricted lisence.
- Board Certification: Be board certified by the American Board of Radiology, American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or equivalent.
- Certification: BLS
