Physician - Occupational Medicine oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Being a Physician - Occupational Medicine examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Occupational Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Occupational Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     * Provide accurate date on encounter form. Read and sign off on all medical records, lab results, other patient data, prior to being filed in patient chart
    * Participate in clinician peer review process
    * Participate in CQI: Quality Improvement Meetings and discussions as requested
    * Interact with and maintain referral resources
    * Will refer to support services (when appropriate) for counseling and education
    * Meeting attendance at monthly General Staff Meeting and Monthly Departmental Clinician Meeting
    * Efficient productivity levels according to health center standards
