Physician - Occupational Medicine oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Being a Physician - Occupational Medicine examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Occupational Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. We are currently looking for per diem Physician Assistants to work in a variety of our occupational settings in the Souderton – Hatfield area.
A candidate will be expected to hold a Physician Assistant license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania, have good orthopedic skills, preferably at least two years’ experience, excellent and dynamic people skills, compassion for people, high motivation level, good communication skills, professional confidence, and an independent thinker.
