Physician - Occupational Medicine oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Being a Physician - Occupational Medicine examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Occupational Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Family Physicians Group is currently recruiting a BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join their established and respected group of providers in Salisbury, NC. The practice has been providing care for over 30 years. Office is open Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with an average daily patient panel of 23 - 25. The providers rotate after-hours and holiday call weekly and do not take hospital call. The physicians provide outpatient care for patients from birth through adulthood.
