Physician - Occupational Medicine oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Being a Physician - Occupational Medicine examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Occupational Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Occupational Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     This position will see a variety of orthopedic conditions including acute work-related injuries and workplace wellness and injury prevention.
     

    The chiropractic division of Agile Occupational Medicine is a rapidly growing business emphasizing quality care with the highest standards.     Requirements

    •  Graduate of an accredited chiropractic program
    • Unrestricted California Chiropractic License (Required) 
    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

    Job Duties 

    • Conduct patient consultations by reviewing health and medical histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients, and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
    • Creating personalized treatment plans for each patient according to their needs and goals 
    • Update and modify the treatment plan on an ongoing basis.
    • Uses clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 
    • Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, exercise and self-are techniques for injury prevention 
    • Maintain open communication with the patient, other team members, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient's plan of care and progress.
    • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
