Physician - Occupational Medicine jobs in South Bend, IN

Summary:

In this role, your main focus will be to assess patient needs and offer comprehensive treatments. As a provider, your responsibilities will include diagnosing and providing treatment for injuries that occur in the workplace, conducting physical examinations for pre-placements, Department of Transportation, public safety, and surveillance purposes on behalf of private companies and government agencies. Additionally, you will evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. You will perform various in-office procedures, maintain communication with employers, and offer medical guidance as needed. Also, you may take on a role overseeing, collaborating with, and supervising advanced practice providers.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week 8a-5p
• Quick start date after credentialing (2 weeks)
• No nights, no weekends, no holidays

Practice:

• 100% outpatient clinic
• Patients of all ages
• Patient volume of 25-35 per day

Cases & Procedures:

• Work-related injuries, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, physical examination
• Suturing, lacerations, derma bonds, ingrown toenail removal, injections, drug screen collections, DOT physicals, screenings
