Physician - Ophthalmology examines patients' eyes to ensure eye health, to treat injuries and to identify eye irregularities. Prescribes glasses, contacts or surgery to correct vision. Being a Physician - Ophthalmology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Ophthalmology may report to a medical director.     Key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Arranging efficient and orderly admission of patients
    • Collect co-pays and deductibles from patients
    • Interviewing incoming patients or representatives and entering information required for admission into computer database
    • Ensure that patient information and necessary signatures are collected and that patients are aware of clinic policies and procedures

    Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 2 years of registrar or related experience preferred
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
