Physician - Ophthalmology examines patients' eyes to ensure eye health, to treat injuries and to identify eye irregularities. Prescribes glasses, contacts or surgery to correct vision. Being a Physician - Ophthalmology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Ophthalmology may report to a medical director. - History Taking
- Refraction
- Golman Applanation Eye Pressures
- Fundus Photo Acquisition
- Oct of Macula and Optic Nerve Image Acquisition
- Performance of Visual Fields
- Skilled in Electronic Medical Record Use
- Perform all other duties of an Ophthalmic Tech
Education:
- Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent, Additional Education is a Plus. Experience as a Trained Ophthalmic Technician is Critical.
- Per-Diem - 15 weeks throughout the year minimum

Wednesday: 7am - 5pm
