Working for this leading academic medical center means collaboration with top clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines.The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is seeking a talented Occupational Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. Our practice is based on collaboration between dedicated physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, case managers, medical assistants and administrators, and serves the needs of healthcare personnel at Penn Medicine’s largest hospital. In addition, we provide occupational health services to the University of Pennsylvania, including its on-campus dental, veterinary and diverse research groups, as well as outside clients in the greater Philadelphia area.
The Attending Physician will see patients at our practice sites in Philadelphia, primarily on the Penn campus, providing direct patient care, overseeing other clinicians, precepting occupational medicine residents, and participating in administrative and program development projects, as needed. Must be familiar with medical requirements under Pennsylvania and US federal statutes, including blood borne pathogens, worker compensation, ADA accommodations, HIPAA, and OSHA-required medical surveillance. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills.
