Physician - Pathology examines diseases using fluids, body tissue, secretions, etc. to ascertain cause, nature, and extent of disease and to determine effectiveness of treatment. May perform autopsy to ascertain exact cause of death, and source or extent of disease and effects of treatment. Being a Physician - Pathology requires an advanced degree.     The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT), located in Shelton, Connecticut is a private practice seeking a part time or full-time BCBA to join its ABA team. We provide clinic-based and in-home services (around the Shelton area). Our mission and philosophy align itself with trauma-informed behavioral interventions, specifically the Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Treatment! We are ready and willing to train the right candidates in this process. In addition to ABA, SPGCT offers families a broad scope of services including speech, occupational, physical, and aquatic therapy services!     • Help develop and facilitate mentoring and supervision programs
    • Provide training and continuous evaluation of staff performance.
    • Collaborate and co-treat with other professionals within the practice to help provide a well-rounded team approach.
    • Collaborating with the clinical and management team to provide best outcomes for the clients, families, and company.
    • Create and monitor data collection protocols
    • Participate in and conduct team meetings in order to update clinicians and families on client treatment plans
    • Conduct initial assessments and maintain a caseload of clients and a team of staff
    • Engage in continuous professional development efforts to learn, maintain, and train new evidence-based, behavior analytic strategies.
    • Establish and maintained ecologically relevant behavioral repertoires including compassionate, humble, flexible, creative, and progressive practices.

    Qualifications:

    • BCBA Certification & CT licensure
    • Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis
    • 1-year minimum experience working as a BCBA (preferred)
    • Focus and experience with pediatrics (early ages preferred)
    • Experience with in home and clinic treatment

    • Clinic: Shelton, Connecticut (Right off Route 8)
    • In-home services- Along Route 8 and surrounding towns of Shelton
