JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience : Previous related experience is preferred.

Able to utilize and navigate the clinic computer-based programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Accession all Pathology cases, surgical, cytology and peripheral smears. Greeting all patients in a courteous and a professional manner.

Registering patients and handling billing questions. Assist Pathologist and Histotechs as needed. Maintain all daily and tracking logs.

Preparation of patient charts. Answering the telephone in a professional and caring manner. Tracking all patient requests and communications.

Delivering, receiving, and tracking all office mail. Scheduling of all patient appointments including appointment reminders.

Filing patient records and other office documents. Other duties as assigned . Be available and willing to work weekends and holidays as assigned.

Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department unit team. Promotes effective working relationships with employees of all other departments.
