The Revenue Cycle Manager will work under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for implementation of End to End RCM processes and workflow. The Revenue Cycle Manager will minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and effectively manage accounts receivable, taking complete ownership of inbound cash flow and DSO. This position will coordinate effective management of revenue cycle activities across the organization.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate with YP Team and external vendors regarding any hospital/ client interfaces lacking integrity for claims submission.
• Supervise the revenue cycle department in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, patients and clients, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, appeals, denials, collection agency, and paper vendor.
• Manage staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
• Review financial hardship applications.
• Oversee the structure and workflow of the department workflow
• Efficiently manage patient complaints

• Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Implement best practices to maintain compliance in billing and revenue processes

• Ability to forecast and analyze reimbursement climate, rates, and perform complex reporting and analysis over all financial components of revenue cycle
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
• At least five years of related experience required
• Proven experience in healthcare billing
• Sound knowledge of health insurance providers
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• CPC Certified preferred, however not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software
• Strong Excel skills are a must
• XIFIN RPM / BI knowledge is a plus
