General Summary of Duties:
Assists and supports the histology technical staff with daily work assignments. Accurately and expediently sorts, accessions, and processes surgical/cytology specimens and requisitions. Work is performed under the supervision of the technical supervisor and histotechnologist.
Supervision Received:
Reports directly the Laboratory Manager, Medical Director, and Pathologist(s)

High school graduation or equivalent. Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred. Working knowledge of computers is required.
