An Award winning Central California Medical Center is actively seeking a Pediatric Physician Assistant to join their outpatient Clinic.
The Pediatric Physician Assistant will manage an expanding Endoscopy program and will play a key role in developing and implementing the program. The Physician Assistant GI will work with a growing team of nursing professionals overseeing a variety of patients and facilities. The Pediatric GI Physician Assistant will report to the Nurse Director of Endoscopy, while also collaborating with a team Nurse Practitioners.
The department is searching for Pediatric Physician Assistant with experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Services. The Pediatric Physician Assistant will serve as a member of the clinical faculty, designing curriculum and delivering in service education while also maintaining the implementation of quality improvement plans.
The Physician Assistant Pediatrics will evaluate the physical and psychological state of the GI patients, and will provide support to patients by participating in-patient and family teaching counseling and support. The Physician Assistant will coordinate the care of Pediatric Gastroenterology surgery pre and post-op. Additionally, the Physician Assistant work with patients and families about education.
