Conducts physical exams, which may include an X-ray, electrocardiogram, Doppler echocardiography, exercise testing, or blood tests. Being a Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects abnormalities, plans treatment, and refers critical patients to a cardiac surgeon. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Pediatric Cardiology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.

Experience Requirements
1 year - Medical assistant - preferred
2 years - Two to four years clerical/customer service experience , ideally in a health care related industry - preferred
1 year -One year experience with third party payors, and computer experience for imputing data and reviewing patient demographic material. - preferred
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or GED - required
Certification/Licensure Requirements
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - required or within 6 months
Basic Life Support (BLS) - required - at time of hire
Medical Terminology Certificate - preferred - at time of hire
