Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects and treats heart and blood vessel disease in infants, children, and teenagers. Conducts physical exams, which may include an X-ray, electrocardiogram, Doppler echocardiography, exercise testing, or blood tests. Being a Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects abnormalities, plans treatment, and refers critical patients to a cardiac surgeon. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Pediatric Cardiology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Located in ***Poway/Escondido, CA*** - just 22 miles north of San Diego!
Seeking an invasive (non interventional) cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions through minimally invasive procedures that encompass accessing the heart and adjacent blood vessels. These procedures are centered around cardiac catheterization, specifically angiograms, with an emphasis on accurate diagnosis. Notably, this role does not encompass stent placement. The selected candidate will also be expected to actively participate in call shifts (including nights, call rotates within group).
