Physician - Pediatric Cardiology jobs in Stamford, CT
Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects and treats heart and blood vessel disease in infants, children, and teenagers. Conducts physical exams, which may include an X-ray, electrocardiogram, Doppler echocardiography, exercise testing, or blood tests. Being a Physician - Pediatric Cardiology detects abnormalities, plans treatment, and refers critical patients to a cardiac surgeon. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Pediatric Cardiology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Seeking full-time Pediatrician for a multi-provider, pediatric and adult medicine practice in the town of Stamford, Connecticut, attractively located in lower Fairfield County, close to New York City.
- Pediatrician (seeing patients aged newborn - 21 years old)
- Outpatient pediatrics
- Newborn rounding and admitting for practice patients in rotation at (2) local hospitals
- Hospitalist backup for inpatients
- No c-section nor delivery coverage required
- Full-time
- Weekdays, 36 patient facing hours per week
- Saturdays in rotation with (1) day off during the week that Sat is covered
- Call: Rotation (5:2)
- Week 1: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun
- Week 2: Tues, Thurs
Requirements:
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
- BC/BE Pediatrics
