Physician - Pediatrics examines children to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests, and follow-up visits, and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Being a Physician - Pediatrics requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Duties:
- Assist physical /occupational/speech therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment, treatment areas, and facilities
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but is not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
This position requires a high level of patient service and interaction.
