Job Summary:

ZOe Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Revenue Cycle Analyst I/Front Desk in our Saint Johns, Florida location. This position plays a crucial part in our claims processing operations, ensuring accurate patient processing, insurance verification, and timely submission of claims. The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills, proficiency in medical billing/coding, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Schedule:
Working between the hours of 11am-8pm, Tuesday to Friday, and Saturday 9am-6pm. After 90 days of employment, this position is eligible for our standard company benefits package, including medical insurance, paid time off (PTO), and paid holidays.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in medical billing/insurance
• Preferred: Associate's Degree or Medical Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure petty cash and reconcile copayments daily
• Answer phones and schedule appointments following company procedures
• Open and close the office daily and ensure proper phone transfers to the on-call nurse
• Order and maintain non-clinical supplies inventory
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives
• Greet patients courteously, verify insurance, and schedule appointments
• Verify insurance benefits daily and coordinate with other revenue cycle coordinators
• Follow up with patients and confirm appointments
• Scan information into patient records
• Ensure completion of fax queue daily
• Proficiency in electronic health record (eCW) system and adherence to front desk processes
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient stability and minimize cycle times
• Follow up on all no-show visits in coordination with administration
• Maintain office equipment and cleanliness
• Perform additional duties as required by medical providers
• Participate in ZÖe Health Fairs
• Evaluate patient needs for well-child checkups when scheduling sick visits or medication refills
